I’m taking time to really think about and write these reviews, which is why there isn’t a regular cadence to when they’re published. The process starts with getting everything down in a notebook, not really caring if it’s coherent. Then I try to make sense of what I’ve written and do some research if the topic warrants it.
Once this preliminary work is done, the review really starts to take shape. I move around paragraphs, touch up sentences, make sure the piece flows well. After the review is complete and ready to share with all of you, I give the aspect of quarantine I’ve been writing about a star rating.
Here are some reviews I’m currently working on that I hope will be ready soon:
IRL
Trader Joe’s
The term viral
NYC stoops
Animals reclaiming their space
Being seriously ill with something other than COVID-19 during a global pandemic
I’m looking to build a backlog of things to review, so I’m turning to any readers out there. What would you like me to review? Feel free to leave a comment in this thread or send me an email.
yes, i am so excited about both trader joe's (which i still haven't been in) and the term viral. no strong thoughts on either but that's why i look forward to a 'definitive' decision ;)

I also haven't returned to Trader Joe's, but I've seen the lines...
I'm actually really happy with the way my review of IRL is shaping up, and I'm hoping to share it soon!
Meeting people and dating during quarantine.
That is an interesting topic...
I have a few friends who have tried pandemic dating. I'll ask them how they feel about it.
